Associate Veterinarian - Surgery
Kiersten Campbell, DVM
Dr. Kiersten Campbell is an associate veterinarian at Pieper Veterinary who is completing a 2022-2023 internship in our surgery specialty department. Born in Maine, she spent her childhood in the New England area and has lived in Texas since high school - she credits her father being in the Navy and the subsequent frequent moves as helping her learn to be adaptable and skilled at meeting new people. Dr. Campbell graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2014 where she studied agricultural business with a minor in business administration, and earned her degree in veterinary medicine from St. George's University in 2021. She completed a clinical year at the University of Minnesota, a small animal rotating internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in Rhode Island, and is now pursuing a focus on surgery at Pieper.
Dr. Campbell is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, and has a clinical interest in orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, and oncology. Dr. Campbell has wanted to become a veterinarian for as long as she can remember, and loves being able to help animals and also work with other like-minded people as a team. When not working she enjoys playing backyard games and team sports, and lives with her polydactyl cat, Edward.
