Dr. Catherine D. Zeveney

Veterinarian

Catherine Zeveney, DVM

Dr. Catherine Zeveney is a Veterinarian at Pieper Veterinary in Marlborough, and has been with Pieper since 1991. She received her degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 and a BS in Biology from the University of Scranton in 1987. Dr. Zeveney has special interests in dermatology, internal medicine, nutrition, wellness care, and preventative medicine. Among her many accomplishments is being one of four vets in the state to participate in a clinical efficacy trial for Apoquel, and one of three vets in the state to do the same for Cytopoint; both ground-breaking drugs for allergy relief in dogs. She is a member of both the AVMA and CVMA, as well as the Tufts Veterinary Alumni Association.

The ability to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families, especially those that have chronic problems like allergies, and to improve their quality of life fuel the hard work that Dr. Zeveney puts into her job daily. She loves being part of the family bond between animal and human, and being part of a profession where she is able to learn something new every day. When she was just eleven years old, Dr. Zeveney knew she wanted to be a veterinarian, and has never looked back. She currently resides in CT with her husband and two daughters, their Australian shepherd, Porter, and cat siblings, Ragu and Cowdrop.
