Amanda Wen, DVM
Dr. Amanda Wen is an associate veterinarian currently undergoing a year-long internship at Pieper Veterinary specifically focused on emergency care and the care of avian and exotic animal patients. Originally from Los Angeles, California, she graduated from Scripps University where she double majored in both Biology and Music, and achieved her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of California, Davis in 2022. She has a special interest in zoo medicine.
Dr. Wen interned at the National Taipei Zoo in 2016, which sparked her interest in the field of zoo medicine and inspired her to pursue a career as a veterinarian. She lives with her two rabbits, Winston and Eleanor, and has played the flute for over ten years.
