Corrine Thomas, DVM
Dr. Corrine Thomas is an associate veterinarian at Pieper Veterinary and part of our rotating small animal medicine and surgery intern class of 2024-2025. Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, she graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S. in Biology, and graduated with her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois. During her school she was the president of the diagnostic imaging club and a board member for the American Society of Animal Behavior club in vet school, and presented her research into hemangiosarcoma at the Veterinary Cancer Society conference in October 2023. Dr. Thomas is a member of the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) and is Fear Free certified, and has a special clinical interest in neurology and neurosurgery.
Dr. Thomas grew up surrounded by many pets including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, and fish, and was always fascinated about learning how to take care of them and how the veterinarians worked. She has a 2-year old Australian shepherd named Obi and a 5-year old Netherland Dwarf rabbit named Nova. In addition to veterinary medicine, she is Scuba certified, played golf for 13 years, and enjoys trail riding with her horse.
