Veterinarian
Mike Lomazzo, DVM
Dr. Mike Lomazzo is a primary care veterinarian who sees patients at our Randolph Rd and Berlin Street hospitals in Middletown. A native to Madison, CT, he graduated from Brown University where he majored in biochemistry, and later achieved his degree in veterinary medicine from Tufts University, where he graduated with honors. During his schooling, he spent a summer working at Pieper as a veterinary assistant, and also worked as an assistant at Tuft's Veterinary Emergency Treatment & Specialties in Walpole, MA. He has a special interest in small animal general practice medicine.
Dr. Lomazzo has always shared his life with pets and been involved with their medical care, helping give medications and fluid treatments to the family cats growing up. While studying biochemistry in college he decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. He lives with his dog Lola and his cat Hazel, and his favorite part of being a veterinarian is being able to work together with his clients to help them help their beloved pets.
